The ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ trailer shows an assembly of a Sith Lord

Disney+ launches 6-episode Obi-Wan series on May 27th

On May the 4th, Lucasfilm and Disney+ are announcing their next Star Wars series about Obi-Wan.

This new trailer has several clips but they all focus on Obi-Wan and Kit, who have a conversation about Luke Skywalker. The highlight is seeing Darth Vader’s damaged body being put together, which was not as clear in the previous trailer.

This brief clip displays the main storyline of the show and how it will develop. The show wants to find Obi-Wan and kill off all other Jedi before they can become stronger. You can also see Kumail Nanjiani onto some other characters wearing Jedi-type clothes.

Whether set 10 years after Revenge of the Sith is up for debate, but Obi-Wan Kenobi will fill in the gaps between the prequels and the original trilogy. The Mandalorian was the first live-action Star Wars series and has been a success, so it’s likely that Kenobi won’t need to give away too much before launching on May 27th.
