Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla Inc, had this to say about a Bloomberg Intelligence forecast that estimates that Germany’s Volkswagen Group could become the top electric vehicle maker by 2024.
The billionaire head of the largest electric vehicle company said he doesn’t agree with a forecast.
Musk said “I believe that forecast was from you.” in response to a question on Competition in the EV Space
When asked about what he thinks of the competition from companies such as GM or Volkswagen, Elon Musk did not answer.
Bill Gates is impressed with the car companies in China and can attest to their competitiveness, hardworking nature, and intelligence.
Bloomberg says that Volkswagen is ahead in the EV market share and they need to succeed in China. They’re currently struggling in this region.
It expects half of the global sales to be EV by 2030. The world’s second-largest automaker sold 8.6 million vehicles globally last year, out of which 452,900 were battery EVs.
The company also increased its annual output by a million units, with its factory’s full production expected to reach one million units in 2023.
