The royal family, after all, is supposed to be having a good time, in our minds’ eye. Having a life comparable to that of Kate Middleton or Prince William is something that many of us dream of doing in our spare time. It should be noted that this is simply what we see in the media and that the truth is in total and utter contrast to what we see in the media as well. Living in luxury includes being able to travel across Europe and the rest of the world in beautiful gowns, attending costly events, and leading an extravagant lifestyle. These are just a few instances of what it means to live a luxurious life. It is true that, despite the fact that they are members of the royal family, they are subject to a slew of bizarre regulations and constraints that we ordinary people may find difficult, if not impossible, to comprehend. Although it is possible that this will not be the case.

No one’s allowed; after the Queen is done eating.
As per the etiquettes; that the royal family obeys, mealtimes are dictated by the Queen herself without considering the opinions of the rest of the family about it. You will be surprised to know that the Queen eats pretty fast, and according to the royal etiquettes, when she has finished her meals; no one else on the table is allowed to continue eating, even if you are still hungry, hasn’t even started eating or have food left on your plates.
So if you want to satisfy your appetite being a royal, you must cope with the speed of the Queen. Undoubtedly, it’s a tradition that the new editions to the royal family would take a little time to adjust, but what can we say? Even though this may not sound fair to everyone at the table, it’s the Queen.
Myrtle; From The Victoria’s Garden In Every Bride’s Bouquet Is A Must
Royal weddings are always the center of attention and attract our obsessions in every possible way, so if you are one of the fans of the royal wedding, you must have noticed that all the Royal brides include plenty of myrtles. These myrtles indicate love and marriage and are the best edition to the bouquet for the bride on a wedding day.
This traditional links back to Queen Victoria, who carried these in her bucket at her wedding and then grew this myrtle in her own Garden. Hence, the royal family tradition now includes every bride to include these in her wedding bouquet, especially from the Victoria Garden. The latest edition to the royal family was the Meghan Markle, who carried a bouquet including these myrtles.
Whether Travelling or in public, PDA is Not allowed
This one is more like a tradition that Queen sets an example here. It’s now an official rule for the royal family, and we usually see Kate Middleton and Prince William making dozens of public appearances. Still, we would never find them engaged in any kind of PDA activity, at least not after they got official.
This isn’t the case because the royal family is not allowed to do so, but they always have to appear professional at all times. The recent couple, Megan And Prince Harry, don’t seem to abide by the rule a lot. During their public appearances, they can often be found appearing affectionate towards each other and holding hands.
No Monopoly For The Royal Members
It may be surprising, but the royal family members are restricted from playing monopoly, but this rule is not about offending the states’ public and has nothing to do with the Queen. This rule in the royal family is about maintaining peace among the members, according to a monarch; in an interview, “it gets too vicious” when everyone in the family competes with each other, trying to win.
And the fact that the royal family is pretty competitive, this rule now makes sense. Still, we guess the royal family would have found some other board games that may be less risky and do not actually involve the risk of getting messier with the other players to win. The tradition of most families is to play monopoly at family get-togethers.
Must Carry All Black Outfit while traveling
The special rule of the royal family may be a little gruesome. Still, yes, it’s a must for all the Royals to carry a pair of all-black outfits whenever they are traveling, for instance, if any family member or the government official dies. Wearing an all-black output is a gesture of showing respect and mourning for the deceased individual.
Hence, making carrying an all-black outside compulsory for all the royal family members, this rule is obviously a sad one, but it’s convenient, isn’t it? So it is tough to argue over it. Let’s take Kate and William returning home from a diplomatic trip, to arrive at the funeral of some family member or someone important wearing bright clothes. How awkward would that be?
Shellfishes are banned from the menu for royals.
This food rule categorizes more into the list of practical ones, and its importance multiplies, especially when they are traveling. So yes, this isn’t the rule dictated by the Queen, but it is to keep the Royal away from the food poisoning carried by the shellfish when they are away from home.
After all, the Royals are on their diplomatic trips to fulfill their duties which may be compromised if they eat shellfish and catch food poisoning and what can be worse than that. They are also supposed to avoid tap water, rarely cooked meats, or any other food or consumables that may be a cause of foodborne illnesses. So it is better to avoid the shellfish rather than stick their heads in the toilet on their trips abroad.
Garlic is a no-no as well.
When appearing in the MasterChef Australia, the wife of Prince Charles, The duchess Camila told them that the garlic was a “no-no”. There is no other logic to this rule other than avoiding lousy breath situations; while communicating, as you all know, garlic is the reason most people may have a bad breath, which obviously would be unpleasant for any commoner.
If you are a royal, the embarrassment and awkwardness are definitely huge. But poor Megan Markle, as we all know that she describes herself as a foodie. It would be a challenge for her, but then we guess she is all free to have garlic back at home, and access to thousands of jewelry items would definitely make up for her loss as a foodie when traveling.
If staying by the rules, no other heir to the thrown is allowed to fly together.
Being higher to Britain’s royal family comes with a lot of responsibility, and this rule definitely is to put the backup plan in place. In case of worst situations, this is the rule that the royal family members cannot fly in the same plane as another heir. This is because if something goes wrong, Britain may not end up losing all of its heirs to mishaps related to the plane.
However, we saw Prince William not abiding by this rule, at least not always. He prefers traveling with his children, which he also clarified by making a formal announcement that he is never going to fly without his children as he fancies traveling together as a family. It is certainly an exception to the royal rules of flying.
No Full-length Pants before turning 8
Children of Kate Middleton and Prince William have never been photographed wearing any full-length or long pants. Prince George and Prince Louis are always found wearing shorts. It’s not just the preference of Kate Middleton, getting them dressed for the day but this rule actually symbolizes status and royal prestige.
These young boys would not be qualified to wear the real pants until they turn 8, and so before that, it is a strict rule to avoid the adult wardrobe choices for these young fellows. Is it just me, or do they actually have to face being uncomfortable in the cold weather or the Stormy winters? It’s royalty. What else can we say?
Siblings with their partners must stand in order.
It was surprising for the media and the fans to see Meghan Markle standing behind Kate Middleton on the official trooping the color debut. But guess what the royal family’s rule is; that the siblings have to stand an order with their partners, which now makes it clear why the brand new Duchess of Sussex was standing behind her sister-in-law.
Prince William, the older in the family and the most senior brother, was the first in the appearance, followed by Kate Middleton then the others. It’s the Royal rules and etiquette that are to be followed by the royal family, and hence who are we, the commoners, to question.
In case of a no-deal Brexit, a plan to evacuate the Queen was already in place.
In 2019 February, it was revealed by the British government that they had plans to evacuate the Queen and the top members of the royal family in case there was a no-deal Brexit causing a series of potential riots and messes around the country. The plans to take the royal family to an undisclosed location were already whisked out if the situation in the country went violent.
Meaning that it’s a tradition of the royal family that the Royals are to be kept safe at all times, and preparations are always on the spot to protect the Royals from any such situations causing any harm to the royal family members. This rule is an example of the less extraordinary rules.
No Tiaras before 6 pm.
There is maybe a symbol of royalty, but still, we have never seen Kate Middleton or the Queen herself wearing the tiaras while making official public appearances during the day. This is because they consider tiaras to be very formal and so should we wear them at night, particularly after 6:00 pm.
As they consider wearing tiaras way too fancy to be wanting during the day and so for that, they have to wear regular hats during the day as we have often seen Kate and the Queen. Not only this but there are their indications of the marital status of the royal members as they signal that the woman has been taken and perhaps this is the reason Meghan received her Crown on her wedding day.
Different tradition and trades gifts on Christmas Eve, no opening the gifts
Living the life of young Princess and princesses is the dream of numerous kids around the world but let me make it clear that these young Prince and princesses would be enjoying all other luxuries but are still not allowed to open the gift on the day of Christmas. Instead, the whole royal family is engaged in various traditions and trade gifts on Christmas.
By the end of the day, everybody reaches the red drawing-room at tea time, where the gift is laid down for them usually on the family get together. The royal family chooses to trade more funny gifts rather than serious ones. An example is a gift given by Kate Middleton to Prince Harry, which was a “Grow your own girlfriend” kit, funny it is!
No Turning Backs On The Queen
Mostly the rules that the royal family is bound to follow revolves around the Queen herself because she is the Queen, but this special rule makes it impossible for everyone to have their back towards the Queen, especially during her social interactions. It is the priority that she has the upper hand.
As he might have observed through the media that the Queen is always the first to leave, and there’s always a specific etiquette that applies to the people who wishes to interact with her; at these events, which include not speaking to the Queen until you are spoken to, and it is allowed under no circumstances to touch her, but Michelle Obama once broke this rule. She put her hand around the Queen for a photo.
No Driving License For the Queen, duh!
The Queen of Britain is the only person allowed to enjoy the perks of driving around the United Kingdom without a driving license. Undoubtedly, it’s another perk of being a queen, which means that she is not restricted to taking any test before she chooses to drive around the United kingdom. In fact, having a number plate to her car isn’t even necessary to her, which can be called yet another Royal prerogative.
Being a queen isn’t an easy job, and so it is fair enough that she enjoys a few perks that come with it; like leaving the party first, having to drive license-free, number plate free, or having any identification with her. The stress she goes to every day being a queen justifies these perks.
Royal Ladies must have legs together when sitting.
In case the term the “Duchess slant” is a new thing for you, here is an interesting fact that all the female members of the royal family are only allowed to sit in a single position. That is holding them together while this sit, or at most can have their legs crossed at their angles with their legs together or at a slant.
This particular rule is actually Royal etiquette that symbolizes modesty and makes sense. It is realistic to sit this way when these ladies have to wear dresses as skirts and to avoid any wardrobe-related miss hap they better keep their legs closed. This rule has been mandated to mitigate any potential malfunctioning with the royal dresses.
Royal Ladies must have Chins Parallel to the Ground.
Another rule for the ladies of the royal family that revolves around the etiquettes of the royal family is that they should master at the duchess slant, that doesn’t only relate to sitting in a certain way but also applies to the positioning of their chin, which is a simple thing that they all have to follow.
The chins of the females of the royal family should, at all times, be parallel to the ground. Thus Royal etiquette is a gesture so that they create a positive public perception about themselves. Because the chain is too high up, they risk being considered proud or arrogant or better than everybody else. While on the contrary, if the chain is too low, it may indicate low confidence. While it’s not new for all of us, that body language is the actual game.
Nicknames are a no-go.
The real name of Kate Milton is actually “Catherine Elizabeth Mountbatten Windsor,” which means that we obviously call her by her nickname that is Kate Milton. This is an odd case in the royal family, especially when married. The royal family lives up to keep things formal, not leaving behind their names, and everybody after getting married into the royal household is given a new name.
Although Meghan Markle’s name is Rachel, she is still known as Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. It’s not new for the Royals to have things their way, which may appear sometime to be unusual for us commoners. It also alludes to another interesting point to note that perhaps a lot of thought the process goes into what names will Royals be called as in the public.
Queen’s secret purse code
This isn’t a rule, but we can call it a perk of being the Queen again. This is actually a cheat code that the Queen uses to avoid awkward social interaction. This will definitely make us jealous as the secret purse code helps the queen pause or even quit her social interactions with anybody.
She has her entourage keeping a constant eye on the position of her perks because it is the language she uses to communicate with her people. If she puts the first on her right arm, she wants her current conversation to be over by requesting someone to come and politely whisk away, or when she puts her purse on the table during a meal, she wants the meals to be officially over. Oh God, I believe this is a superpower.
No autograph signings by the royals
There is no permission given to any royal family member to give out the Autograph as this is a rule which relates to their Royal security and is very practical. The signature in the Autograph may give someone a chance to learn the signature and commit forgery. It’s obviously not a pleasant thing for the fans, but this rule holds the practical reason.
Not only this, but a recent rule that they tend to follow is that these Royal avoid taking selfies that as, like the Queen, they don’t want anyone to have their back to them, which becomes nearly impossible while taking a selfie. But let’s not be sad because to compensate for these, the royal members actually take time to maintain eye contact with the people that are talking and prefer speaking with the person to make a genuine connection with them.
It’s unconstitutional for the royals to vote.
As many other rules dictated to the royal family members, being unable to vote is one of the restrictions; they have to abide by. In America, it is usual for the politicians to vote for but if we talk about the United Kingdom, it is unconstitutional if the members of the royal family vote and not only this but voting becomes a restriction, for their primary goals of relating to the public; if they choose to vote
They have to express their opinions over specific issues and for that, they need to align themselves with specific populations which goes against the primary goal. Instead, they should stay neutral. That is why it is unconstitutional in the United Kingdom for the royal family members to cast their votes.
Royals should Accept Every Gift that’s presented to them.
It’s not new that Kate Middleton and Prince William are on diplomatic trips. They are showered with gifts from the dooring public, the diplomats, and some prominent political figures. Not just willfully, but the Royals are forced to accept all the gifts that ae given to them. Obviously, not when the gift is a portion of food.
Here is a twist about this rule any gift received by any member of the royal family officially belongs to the Queen because she is the one in charge. Okay, as it was not apparent from the rules above, the Queen is the most prominent figure for the royal families and is in charge of everything.
No Tiaras Allowed before marriage.
There are a lot of attractions in the royal family, and many of us dream of living like them. One of the attractions is the fantastic jewels; worn by the ladies of the royal family. Queen Elizabeth owns the most stunning and historical collection of jewels globally, and Kate Middleton is often spotted with those gems borrowed from Queen Elizabeth. But there is a restriction on the ladies of the royal family about wearing a specific type of jewelry, that is the tiaras.
According to the customs of Britain Royal families, tiaras are a restricted territory for the unmarried Royal even if they were born Royal, indicating that Tiara is not just signed up status and royalty but also a symbol of being taken and not looking for a partner; essentially restricting unwanted royal proposals.
The Queen Had to lead, and her husband must follow.
Prince Philip married Queen Elizabeth II, but even that didn’t make him equal to his wife. According to the orders of the precedence of United Kingdom, The Prince always had to be at a distance of a few steps behind his wife, especially during occasions that were formal and state dinners and as the Queen given the status of the sovereign, had to walk in front of any processions.
t was the Queen and her husband itself, but still, the Royal had rules and restrictions applied to them. Although he had the status higher than all-male members, Prince still could not surpass the status of a queen and walk beside her, let alone walk in front of her. After all, being Royal comes with the price to pay.
If The Queen Stands, Everyone must follow suit.
This rule is another one of the perks of being a queen: If the Queen chooses to stand up due to any reason, it is always followed by the members of Royal families standing after her; they are obligated to follow the suit of the Queen, and no one is allowed to sit before the Queen does.
It’s not just limited to the Royal members of the family but also to the commoners, so if you are in the presence of the Queen. It’s best to take a guess of the environment and follow everyone else in the room and play it all safe. This is actually a royal protocol that comes with a history and is still a part of the tradition and protocol of the royal family in the 21st century.
No gender reveals before birth.
Like many other rules, the royal family members are barred from revealing the gender of their Unborn children before their birth. Even if the family members find out the gender, they are not allowed to disclose it to the public and must at all costs keep this a secret from the prying eyes.
It’s not sure whether members of the royal family are to abide by this rule strictly or is it just a tradition that runs in the royal family. Either way, the public is interested in figuring out whether it is a boy or a girl by observing the clothing pattern of the princesses and ladies of the royal family to make a guess about the gender of the baby before the birth. Well, it’s a lot of pressure anyway.
Mapped out dinner conservations for the Queen
Being a queen is not an easy job, and even your dinner conversations are adequately planned beforehand. So when Queen Elizabeth is seated for dinner, conversations over the dinner are correctly mapped down based on who sits next to her. She communicates to the person on her right at the start of the dinner and when she moves on to the second course of the meals.
She turns to the guest on her left and converses with that individual. It’s not just the other royal family members that have to abide by a specific set of rules. But it’s the Queen herself that needs to follow a particular set of rules even during her public meals. This is what makes them Royal. I guess it’s not just the perks, but also the responsibility that comes with it which is enormous.
Formal events and hats go side by side for the royals.
As mentioned in the above items, the royal family members are allowed to wear hats in public during the day. Still, it was not mentioned that wearing hats is necessary for all the formal events that any royal family member attends. If you are a fan of the royal family, you must have noticed that at every formal event that Prince William and Kate Middleton attend, they are always seen elegantly wearing hats at the formal events.
It is a part of the tradition that had run in the royal blood since 1950 as before that the women and the other members were allowed to show their hairs in public. Still, after 1950, it was made a necessity to wear hats at official events and now is considered a big part of collective British living.
You’ve got to be multilingual if you are royal!
Out of nearly a dozen rules applied to the members of the royal family, one of them is learning at least one additional language. Lately, it was revealed that Prince George could count in Spanish at a very young age which shocked and impressed the people., which was not only an expression of an intelligent child with quality private education, but it was among the royal family’s rules to be multilingual.
Queen Elizabeth herself speaks French while prince Williams speaks welsh along with French, and Prince Charles is very good at German. It’s evident that the royal family members have to attend numerous events and gatherings, and it ultimately makes sense for them to learn various languages and communicate with people efficiently. This rule is more of efficiency rather than a restriction.
Bright Outfits for the Queen
It isn’t a fashion choice of the Queen to wear the bright outfit when in public, but it is an intelligent decision. The rules she needs to follow are to wear bright clothing when she is in public for the people around her to spot her without any difficulty easily. It was not clear why it was necessary for the Queen to wear the bright outfits until her daughter-in-law Sophie, the countess of Wessex, revealed the reason in the documentary.
The Queen attends many public appearances, and being surrounded by more than a dozen people is nothing new for the Queen. Still, it is very realistic and logical for her to wear bright clothing to be very noticeable not only to avoid unforeseen situations but also to be prominent.
Formal wear To Dinner is a must.
Being a royal family member, you are expected to portray a Royal image as you are under the microscope 24/7. It usually applies to the dinner where not only the members of the royal family but all others who are invited over the dinner are having dinner with the Royals. They were required to wear formal dresses. This rule is not limited just to the Royal family members but also to all others.
For instance, if anybody appears wearing jeans and a shirt then probably they won’t be invited back for another one. Not only this but the formal wear for the ladies and the princesses in the royal family are required to wear the Crown and tiaras after 6 pm. Dinners in the royal family are considered to be formal affairs, and everybody needs to be dressed up before showing up to the dinner, similar to the occasion.
Bow and curtsy, for the Queen, even if you are royal.
Bow and curtsy have always been a part of the royal protocol. We have seen the general public bowing or showing curtsy in front of the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth. But it is uncommon or not a widely known fact that the royal family members are also obligated to bow and show curtsy for the Queen.
As for the men of the royal family, they are required to wear a neck bow. The Royals were shown to follow these protocols before the Queen, but we are not sure if they are required to follow these etiquettes and protocols in private or is just customary for public appearances.
Monarch approval is a must to marry.
Like all the other items we have seen about it’s not new that most everything in the royal family is dictated by the Queen herself. Marrying with the monarch’s approval, that for now is the Queen Elizabeth of England, isn’t a common courtesy; certainly, we did not expect this at all.
Still, according to the Royal Marriage Act of 1772, the royal descendants must seek approval from the monarch, even before they can propose to their potential partner. Now we think Kate Middleton and Meghan must have gone to great lengths to impress Queen Elizabeth, given the fact that they came from nonroyal families.
Correct angles for tiaras
Tiara itself is an essential part of the royal family concerning their etiquettes and protocols and there are numerous rules associated with the Tiara itself. When the married princesses of the royal family choose to wear a tiara, it must be worn correctly at an appropriate angle decided for everyone.
Traditionally back in the days, the Tiara was worn in front of the heads, but recently it’s more towards the back of their head and is precisely placed at an exact angle of 45 degrees. In our opinion, it is a lot of effort just for a royal piece of jewelry to be more visible to the commoners than all others.
Impeccable grooming for public images
From hats to formal dresses, from a formal dress code for the royal children to specific timing for Tiara, the royal family is surrounded by a dozen of rules, obligations, and restrictions. Kate Middleton goes to a salon around three times a week; to the same Salon, she used to go to before marrying into the Royals, which if the commoners choose to go would cost us around $10000 per year.
The royal family members are required to groom themselves in all aspects, including the dress code, makeup, and haircut, and should look well-groomed at all times. This rule does not only apply to the elder ones of the royal family but also to the children, and that is why kids of Kate Middleton and Prince William always follow a specific grooming pattern even for the public images.
Positioning of silverware Is critical.
Being a member of the royal family, you must follow a set of rules even if you choose to excuse yourself from the Dinner. As a part of Royal etiquettes, these rules include gestures relating to the silverware, which indicates some messages by crossing the utensils on the table. The other royal staff members would know that you will return to the table and that your plate should not be removed.
In contrast, if you have finished your meal and want to leave the table, you need to place your silver wear at a particular angle with the handles of the utensils at the bottom right of the plate. This indicates that you are done with the dinner, and the plate should be removed. Being a Royal is too much of a responsibility, and even simple tasks like attending the dinner table are full of rules and regulations.
Directives for holding the teacup
The royal family members cannot even enjoy a cup of tea without following a specific set of rules. A particular set of rules regulates each time of the day, and so tea time is no different. The royal family members must grab the teacup following the directive laid out to them.
That is, by pinching the teacup handle with the help of the index finger and a thumb, they can secure the bottom of the cup with their middle finger. The members of royalty do a lot to maintain their Royal status, and the rules and regulations applied to them also serve the same purpose.
No physical interactions between royals and nonroyals!
Well, this will may not be a rule late per se by the monarch of the United Kingdom, but it’s more of a tradition that the commoners in the general public choose to follow. When meeting the royal family members the general public greets them by shaking hands or offers them a traditional bow.
Hence, there is no obligatory code of behavior laid down by the members of the royal family or the monarch herself to follow when meeting the Queen or any other member. In December 2014, Prince William and Kate Milton attended a basketball game and had a photoshoot with the athlete LeBron James. After the match in the photo, LeBron had his hand around Kate and the internet busted by calling him out for breaching the royal etiquettes. Well, from the picture it is clear that Kate is not uncomfortable with that physical interaction, so we guess it’s okay here!
Crop of children for Royal Weddings
Coming back to the Royal wedding, it is not the myrtle or the hair loom that entered the list of Royal wedding rules. But it is the crop of children that the royal weddings must-have. Usually, in the list for the guest of the royal wedding; kids outnumber the adults.
There is a tradition of having Windsors as page boys and bridesmaids. This rule, in reality, would look very adorable with cuties dressing up as bridesmaids and page boys, carrying baskets of flowers, making the day even memorable for the members of the royal family; a lovely rule, to say the least!
I can’t see the royals on the ballot.
It’s nothing new in the United States that celebrities and others with minimal political backgrounds run for office. As we all can guess when it comes to the royal family members, you can never see them in the ballet. At least not anytime soon, since voting for them is unconstitutional for the royal, as addressed earlier.
So it is nothing surprising when it comes to the fact that they cannot run for the office. Whether this rule is nothing out of the ordinary or an illogical one but holds a very logical reason for relating to the public and staying neutral at all times. They don’t even need to run for office. They are Royals, duh!
Should not wear fur
Back in 2011, Queen Elizabeth and Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall were criticized for wearing furry clothing on Christmas Day. The fact of staying neutral is stressed a lot when it comes to the British Royals. The animal-loving people of Britain didn’t respond well to the choices of the royal and backflushed them by accusing them of supporting the cruelty in the industry.
While Camila quickly made a statement telling that both her and Queen’s hat and fury outfits were vintage and upcycled. In the 12th century, King Edward III restrained all the Royals from wearing fur. This rule is broken chiefly, and it’s not difficult to search for instances when the Royal are found donning their fury outfits.
It was not until 2011 that the royals could marry a roman catholic
It’s a modern world today, and like all of us, royal family members are free to marry people of any faith or cast, but it was not the case until 2011. Because back in the days, the royal family members were strictly prohibited from marrying anyone from the Roman Catholic School of thought.
Before Prince Harry could even propose to Meghan Markle, he had a long list of restrains and hurdles that he had to conquer to seek her approval as it was an essential part of Royal weddings to attain the monarch’s approval. Well, the Queen agreed to the choice of Prince Harry and let him Marry Meghan Markle, who had Catholic ties. It must have been a long journey, but we guess it was worth it!
Attorney worked out seating arrangements at the event.
The seating charts are carefully worked out and mapped at the formal and Royal events. As they are arranged by order of precedence while considering the most critical factors of age, interest, language, and others, we cannot ignore the fact that Royal events usually have more than 150 guests; making this quite a difficult task for the planners.
All sitting arrangements are set in order. We still don’t know why, but all we know is that they are the royal family members, and anything that is a part of life cannot be ordinary, be it the sitting arrangements at their events. So if you are royal, you can not cherry-pick the seats you want to sit on!
The Queen enjoys the exact breakfast each morning.
Since she is the Queen of England, she can enjoy a long list of the variety of food to have all around the day, but the British monarch, Queen Elizabeth, enjoys the exact same breakfast each day. That is her English breakfast tea with milk and Mary cookies. She is an early Riser and loves sticking to her breakfast every single day of her life.
After having her morning cup of tea, she is reported to request a ball of corn flakes alongside some prunes, macadamia nuts, or apricot. But then she is the Queen; she could ask for anything in the world, but the royalty and its Royal image may have made her inclined to have the same breakfast every day.
Cleavage revelation is restricted.
It’s now clear that the royal family members are permanently restricted by various dress codes and restrictions relating to their outfits and mannerism for public appearances. With an utter emphasis on their grooming, it would not be surprising for us that the women of the royal family are strictly not allowed to reveal any cleavage. We believe this would not be an easy job when they would get out of their cars for the events.
But wait, princess Diana’s clutches, known as the “cleavage bags,” are known so because they help her cover her cleavage, as she was always found clutching her purse tightly to her chest to prevent any unwanted photos she may be used to give used those cleavage bags to cover up the cleavage, especially when getting out of the car, at all events which help her abide by the rule as well.
The Queen’s Dogs are Royalty too.
We, as commoners, are much concerned about our pets, so why would the Queen of England not treat her dog like royalty. Queen Elizabeth loves her dogs and is very concerned about their health and takes it pretty seriously, especially when it comes to their eating. Gourmet meals are prepared for her dogs; created by Chef every day!
According to the sources, the Queen’s dogs usually eat around 5:00 pm with a fillet of steak and chicken breast, and the food along with the menu is created daily from scratch, using fresh ingredients and then prepared and fed to the pups by a footman. What else can we expect from these Royals? The dogs are Royal too!
No Pranks on Queen’s Dogs
When we talk about practical jokes, Queen Elizabeth herself possesses a good sense of humor. She even appreciates good pranks, but only when they are centered around her. Anything that links or involves her dog is not tolerated at all. The Queen loves her dogs a lot and is always concerned about them and that is why she can never tolerate any pranks that involve her dogs.
In 1999, a footman tried playing a practical joke on her Royal corgis. He put some whiskey and gin in the dog food, expecting a stir of laughter from the Queen, but he was wrong to expect this reaction as the Queen was displeased by this and demoted the footman. So no pranks on her dog at all!
Specified Dog breeds are proscribed.
As we can see, the Queen is quite a fan of the dogs and is pretty concerned about her pets, but still, there is a restriction of dog breeds that Royal family members can and cannot pet. It’s apparent that Queen’s long-life obsession is with the corgis as she has had more than 30 corgis since she started her ruling in the United Kingdom.
Nevertheless, this does not mean that all four-legged animals are welcomed. During Christmas 2013, the Queen banned William and Kate’s cocker spaniel, Lupo, from the festivities, and this question was about her corgis, who were previously attacked by another dog before. Okay, that’s a lot of love for the dog.
The Corgis Enjoy No Rules royal lives.
Every member of the royal family is loaded with dozens and dozens of rules and restrictions, but this doesn’t seem to be the case with the corgi of Queen Elizabeth, who lives a luxurious life, free of any rules and restrictions to abide by as nobody in the palace is allowed to raise a finger or voice to any of the dogs of the Queen.
They can actually do whatever they want and wherever they want on the antique furniture, priceless carpets. The Queen sacrifices all for her corgis. Only the Queen’s pets are enjoying another level of being Royal. Not fair, right? But what can we say? The Queen made the rule, and we can’t argue with the monarch.
